Objectives of Mission

  • Educate and inform others about the historical significance of the building
  • Collect, preserve, arrange, and make accessible the artifacts of The Church Studio Archive
  • Engage the general community through music programs, festivals, education, video, film, recording, merchandise, and activities
  • Provide free tours and educational programming to teachers and their students
  • Offer recording scholarships to qualifying local musicians
  • Offer post-secondary educational programs in audio engineering
  • Propel the legacy of Leon Russell and the importance of the Tulsa Sound
  • Advance Studio Row, the neighboring district of The Church Studio, to promote tourism and economic development.
