Located in the historic The Church Studio; the Church Studio Archive will provide fans, enthusiasts, and historians with an inside look at all things Leon Russell, Shelter Records, Tulsa Sound musicians and lots of surprises; all in one convenient location. The Archive will be ever-evolving and “living”, inspiring a two-way connection with those that engage with the items; either in person or digitally. The approximately 4,000 piece collection is a celebration of love, life, and music!

ACCESS TO THE CHURCH STUDIO ARCHIVE

Materials in The archive are available to view exclusively on-site at the Helmerich Center for American Research in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Due to high demand, access to the archive will only be granted to individuals with qualified research projects, and only by appointment.

If you wish to discuss your project with our librarian or make an appointment to access materials, please complete and submit the Research Associate Application form to librarian@bobdylanarchive.com You will then be asked to consult The Church Studio Archive Finding Aid in order to create and submit a list of the specific items you wish to access.

Upon completion of the historical renovation of The Church Studio,
the public will learn more about enjoying this extraordinary collection.
