Meet Stanton Doyle: Director of the Church Studio Music Foundation

Stanton Doyle, a Tulsa native with expertise in museums and archives, became the Executive Director of the Church Studio Music Foundation in October. He played a vital role in bringing Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan’s archives to Tulsa, leading to associated museums. Stanton also contributed significantly to Guthrie Green park and the Lowdown music venue. With a bachelor’s degree in ethnomusicology and a master’s in nonprofit management, Stanton is well-qualified for his role. Fun fact: he used the bathroom in Leon’s Maple Ridge basement studio before its demolition, adding a unique touch to his background.
